The Meadowlands Development Corporation has enjoyed wonderful growth over the past decade, primarily due to a vibrant economic climate in the Southern Alberta area. A special thank you goes out to our dedicated staff and loyal subcontractors that have added to our success. Clearly we would be remiss if we didn’t particularly thank our very satisfied customers, both purchasers and lessors who continue to support our company.

The future going forward looks extremely positive. Our near term projects include an 89 unit apartment style condominium with 30 semi-detached units on the same site. Located in Medicine Hat’s fastest growing area, this project is gaining sales momentum on a weekly basis.

In the same neighbourhood, construction has begun on our newest residential development, Saamis Meadows Townhomes. These units offer excellent value to the affordable housing market.

We continue to accumulate some of the most desirably commercial sites in the area as well. In addition to our Auto Village site on 13th Avenue and Trans Canada Highway we hold many strategic properties thoughout the community. Many of these sites will see development within the next 12 months.

Our longer term projects on the drawing board include a major commercial and modular home park on the Black and White Trail, a country residential development on the outskirts of town and possibly a major housing and recreational property park in Sylvan Lake Alberta. (One of Canada’s fastest growing areas.)

It is the goal of our management team to continue to grow the company in a socially responsible, community oriented and environmentally sensitive manner.
